The course fosters critical thinking about marketing, qualitative and quantitative marketing research, along with associated business and management problems; it enhances students' marketing problem solving skills, as well as providing the key specialist skills that are required for marketing management roles; it aides understanding of and promotes action on both secondary and primary marketing research data to enhance marketing decisions.
Normally a 1st Class or upper 2nd Class Honours degree in marketing, psychology, economics, business, management or education (other subjects considered). Applications from students who do not hold a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent) will be asked to demonstrate potential to achieve a Master's award via a sample of academic writing and interview before an offer is made. Students whose 1st language is not English there is a language requirement of IELTS 6.5 overall (reading 6, writing 6), TOEFL ibt 87, or other equivalent recognised English language qualification.
Modules: marketing management; international marketing; marketing science; global business ethics.; management strategy; human resource management; knowledge management and development; elective course; research methods for management; research dissertation.
Assessment include written assignments and presentations.
