Liverpool Hope University
This course is designed for professional practitioners, recent graduates and professionals who wish to update and re-establish their own personal development; it is based on an individually negotiated programme of practice and research rather than a pre-arranged programme of teaching; there is a strong emphasis on supervised independent learning, personal responsibility, reflection and evaluation; it is a practical course for the practical student.
Normally a 1st Class or upper 2nd Class Honours degree in the subject to be studied. Applications from students who do not hold a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent) will be asked to demonstrate potential to achieve a Master's award via a sample of academic writing and interview before an offer is made.
Modules: theoretical research and professional practice; negotiated creative practice; autonomous creative practice; creative practice final project.
Major project: developed under supervision.
