This course is for those who are interested in deepening their understanding of key themes in Christian theology; it offers a coherent and creative part-time course of study that equips students to engage confidently with key debates in the field of theology; students have access to library which include a number of specialist theological collections.
Normally a 1st Class or upper 2nd Class Honours degree. Applications from students who do not hold a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent) will be asked to demonstrate potential to achieve a Masters award via a sample of academic writing and interview before an offer is made.
Core module: the living tradition: continuity and change in western and non-western Christianity. 3 optional modules such as: studies in ecclesiology; negotiations and renegotiations in contemporary Christian theology; studies in Christology.
