International Human Resource Management
An honours degree in any subject area 2.2 or above. Experience in the field of HR, training, development or related area OR aspiring to a career in these areas. Industry experience recommended but not essential. Additional qualifications considered - Level 5 CIPD Intermediate standards.
Modules include: Introduction to international human resource management strategy and context; managing global resourcing, talent and performance; organisational development in an international arena; professional skills and behaviours in human resource management; engagement in a global digital age; professional skills and behaviours; finance and project management for international human resource consultants; research methods for international contexts.
Assessment methodsinclude: Written assignments reviewing the implications of major pieces of current research for contemporary organisations; written assignments advising on and developing human resource strategy and policy in specific organisation and sector contexts; information technology portfolio evidencing development; face-to-face presentations and role play; research proposal in preparation for Master's level dissertation; dissertation.
