The course is designed to equip you with a range of skills and techniques to help you reaching senior positions as an Engineer and Technical Manager in manufacturing process engineering, with particular emphasis on advanced manufacturing technologies and the application of advanced materials.

MSc: You will need:
a minimum 2:2 honours degree in an engineering discipline
or
an equivalent professional qualifications with relevant work experience
Additional information:
IELTS English language requirement: 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component)
Pearson requirements: 58-64 (minimum 51 in each component for UKVI purposes)

Assessment methods
To cater for the wide-ranging content of our courses and the varied learning preferences of our students, we offer a range of assessment methods on each programme. Assessment techniques vary from module to module to reflect relevant assessment approaches and the key learning points of each topic.
You will be assessed via a combination of coursework including case study reports, assignment submissions and, where appropriate, short class tests. Some modules also include unseen exams on problem solving skills. Practical skills are assessed through case-study coursework reports, group and individual projects, research reports and oral/written exams.
