The course explores a wide range of contemporary methodological frameworks and methods of data collection and analysis. Entry requirements

You will need an Honours degree (minimum 2.2) in a relevant subject area (e.g. education, sociology, psychology, health).

Course modules

Core modules: introduction to qualitative approaches; researching pictures and text; introduction to quantitative approaches; critical perspectives on research philosophies; developing and applying quantitative approaches; exploring post-modern/post-structural approaches.
