Liverpool John Moores University
Advanced Educational Practice (Mentoring and Coaching)
Our programme has strong links with schools, colleges, local authorities and other universities, ensuring its curriculum and approach to professional development are relevant to current professional needs. The mix of professionals, from across education and beyond, creates a dynamic environment for all, enabling you to learn from each other by sharing professional experiences. Successful completion of this programme will give you enhanced knowledge and understanding of mentoring and coaching theory and practice. It will also enable you to contribute to organisational change and effectiveness. You will develop key generic and transferable research skills (referencing, collecting data, forms of analysis, reading academic literature) which can then be used in preparation for both Masters and Doctoral level work. Many of our students progress on to our Masters in Advanced Educational Practice: Teaching and Learning programme.
