Advanced Educational Practice (Teaching and Learning)

This programme provides an opportunity for you to: Develop your teaching capabilities; develop your understanding of relevant recent theory, research and practice in teaching and learning; enhance your ability to contribute to organisational effectiveness. It differs from many other postgraduate programmes in its focus on enhancing practice by attracting professionals from a range of sectors. Indeed, it is this mix of individuals from across education and beyond, which creates a dynamic environment where students learn from each other through the sharing of professional experiences.

Entry requirements

You will need a first degree (minimum 2.2) or a Certificate in Education (gained prior to graduate entry into teaching); a Certificate in Education (post 16), with appropriate professional experience. If your first language is not English, you will also need an IELTS score of 6.5 (minimum of Level 6 in reading and writing).
