The course enables students to gain a rigorous and analytical understanding in the techniques and frameworks of general management. Study core courses in Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, Marketing, Strategy, Leadership and Organisations, and Management Analysis Systems.
Applicants should hold an Honours degree. Applicats submit an essay, a 1 page curriculum vitae or resume and 2 letters of recommendation. Applicants should have a GMAT score of at least 600. students whose 1st language is not English should be able to provide an Engliah language test score of an appropriate level.
Modules include: Financial tools; accounting; economics (micro and macro); markets and marketing; strategy; individuals and organisations; statistics and decision analysis; business and society.
Generally, Annual Fund scholarships are awarded based on your original Master's in Management application; any 1 student may only receive 1 scholarship from the London Business School; however, winners of Annual Fund awards who subsequently decide to apply for (and are awarded) a class or company award of a lesser amount, will have this topped-up to the amount of their original Annual Fund award; this ensures they receive any additional benefits (eg internship interviews or mentoring opportunities) that may result from class and company awards without incurring a financial penalty; nearly all scholarships are awarded in the form of fee remission, and no monies will be distributed prior to a student arriving on campus; no candidate may use award money to pay the Commitment or Reservation Fee payments.
