This is a a specialist management programme providing a learning experience for executives and senior managers seeking to add the latest cutting-edge business and management theory to their portfolio of solid managerial knowledge and experience; it uniquely focussed to the fashion industry and will enable individuals to broaden their career beyond specific industry functions such as design, PR and buying in order to achieve more strategic senior-management roles; during the programme students will be able to enhance their problem solving, analytical and evaluative skills by combining theoretical knowledge with the day-to-day experience of their role in the workplace.
Applicants will possess a good Honours degree in a related discipline (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification or will have significant senior management experience in the fashion industry that can be shown to be equivalent to an Honours degree; applicants should also have a minimum of 3 years' relevant industrial experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in any 1 skill.
Modules include: socio-cultural context in fashion; global supply chain and distribution; human and financial resource management; leadership and personal skills development; product portfolio management; strategic branding and marketing management; consultancy project.
