The course will also bring you to the forefront of modern theories, technologies and computing practices in cloud computing, big data analytics, semantic web, multimedia streaming, mobile and wireless computing. It is designed to provide you with the necessary expertise needed to develop complex analytical models, to use advanced software technologies and to implement contemporary solutions which incorporate modern online information processing.
A lower 2nd Class Honours degree in mathematics, computer science, software engineering, computing or a closely related discipline, or a Pre-Master in computing and technology. Graduates without a computing degree will need evidence of considerable computer-based experience or a substantial element of computer studies within a different qualification. Working knowledge of one Object-Orientated Programming language (such as Java, C++ or C# )and some web design and database skills. A pass in English Language at GCSE at grade C or above, all applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language
Modules include: Relational and object database development; web, cloud and pervasive computing; enterprise component development; artificial intelligence applications; discrete structures and algorithms; research and development skills.
The assessment combines individual coursework assignments, academic and professional examinations, work appraisals and project evaluation.
