Philosophy of Science
This programme prepares students for PhD work in philosophy or related disciplines as well as for employment in fields such as science journalism, science administration and science management.
A 2.1 Honours degree or 1st Class degree (or overseas equivalent) with a considered interest in the areas covered. Most students will have a science background or one in philosophy. English language requirement for non-native speakers (TOEFL/IELTS).
LSE graduate support scheme; other scholarships and awards are available such as the Lakatos Memorial Scholarship a �4,000 award for a single philosophy student. UK/EU students are eligible for nomination for AHRC funding.
