Social Policy

Department specialisms include: social history; health policy; women and social policy; social security; poverty; housing policy and management; social work; community care; economics of social policy; population studies; and social exclusion. The institute has a long standing and deep interest in social policy, planning and related issues in developing countries.

Entry requirements

Higher merit in a Master's degree, preferably in social policy or public policy, plus a 2.1 Honours degree. English language requirement for non-native speakers (TOEFL/IELTS).

LSE scholarships and studentships; UK/EU students are eligible to apply for ESRC funding.
