This course provides an excellent opportunity to increase transnational knowledge, develop management skills, gain further insight in international business, and enhance career opportunities.

Entry requirements

Typically you will be a social science/ business/management graduate (although a conversion course is available for graduates in other disciplines) with some experience of business.

Course modules

Semester 1 (General pathway): international business economics; international management; analytical techniques for international business; semester 2 (general pathway): global information systems for strategic advantage; research methods. Semester 2 (General pathway optional modules): managing international resources (project management); service sector consultation; sustainable development and global citizenship; global operations and logistic; international marketing; marketing communication; managing across cultures; E-commerce. Finance pathway core; international finance and decision making; research methods. Options: asset fund management; portfolio theory and investment analysis; bank governance and regulation; international banking and bank performance. Semester 3 (core): dissertation.
