Practice Education (Social Work)
This course offers opportunities for students to develop a sound understanding and knowledge of the role as a practice educator in relation to teaching, learning, assessment and curriculum design; it enhances leadership skills by encouraging critical reflection, working with and learning from service users and carers and inter-professional learning.
Applications are welcomed from those who may not have completed a first degree but who have sufficient professional experience and a record of continuous professional development (CPPD) that would make them suitable to study at this level.
Modules include: practice education 2; curriculum perspectives; research methodology and strategy; leadership in practice education; plus optional units from the practice education pathway or the wider postgraduate framework; dissertation.
