Mental Health Practice
This practice-based course helps promote the development of core skills and capabilities in mental health practice and helps students apply new or enhanced skills and understanding to their particular practice areas; the course is informed by the requirements and expectations of the National Service Framework.
All students should hold a recognised professional qualification at pre-registration level or equivalent and practice in a mental health care setting. PGDip/MSc students will require a first degree or equivalent.
Bio-psychosocial approaches to recovery from severe mental illness; research in health and social care; dissertation (60 credit module).
