Security, Peace-Building and Diplomacy
Minimum of a lower 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university or equivalent overseas qualification recognised by Loughborough University.
English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest (reading, listening, writing and speaking) or equivalent.
Modules include: Individual Project, dissertation, business plan or placement; diplomacy: policy, practice and procedures 1; diplomacy: policy, practice and procedures 2; emergency simulations; peace-building; international security; second subject module.
Optional modules include: Economic global governance; the politics and practice of the European Union; economic diplomacy; diplomatic discourse; cultural projection and perception.
Modules are assessed by a combination of essays, group exercises, presentations and time constrained assignments. Subject to your choices, there may also be exams.
