Construction Project Management

This programme is tailored for construction professionals looking for a more holistic perspective of construction project processes and the challenge of project management in complex building and infrastructure projects. Core study areas include building information modelling; design management and sustainability in the built environment.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject and/or full membership of a relevant professional institution, or The Loughborough Postgraduate Certificate in Management for Engineers. Other relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. International students require English language score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

ICT for construction projects; research and communication; principles of design and construction; principles of project management; design management; sustainability and the built environment; management of construction processes; postgraduate research project; option module (part-time students only); management and professional development 1. Option modules 1: choose 1 from; strategic management in construction; people and teams; procurement and contract procedure; business economics and finance; federated 3d building information modelling (bim).
