This programme is aimed at both new graduates and engineering professionals who wish to develop advanced skills in engineering science, design and technology. It will equip you with the technical and transferable skills highly sought after by industry or academic research.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in any engineering discipline, or HND with appropriate industrial experience. Applicants with a Lower 2nd Class Honours degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Course modules

Experimental mechanics; simulation of advanced materials and processes; structural analysis; computer aided engineering; engineering design methods; thermofluids; project.

Assessment methods

Examinations in January and May with coursework throughout the programme; project assessed by written report, presentation and exhibition.
