Project management skills are in demand and increasingly they are an essential requirement for many different job roles. This course has 2 units which carry accreditation from the Association for Project Management (APM). This course is suitable for professionals and graduates who are looking to develop their project management skills as well as project management specialists who want a recognised qualification. This course addresses the key factors that underpin the successful delivery of projects. Studies cover how to manage the technical, cultural, political and financial aspects of a project and the tools and techniques available to students. People are a crucial part of any project's success and they consider how to adeptly manage challenges such as power disputes between colleagues, skills development issues and maintaining motivational levels for long- term projects. The number of units studied depends on if studentsd choose the PgCert (60 credits), PgDip (120 credits) or MSc (120 credits of units plus 60 credit dissertation).
