The part-time Executive MBA covers core business and management subjects including: international business; financial analysis and management; management for business excellence; managing customer value; managing human performance; corporate and business strategy; strategy implementation; and organisational renewal and change.
Good Honours degree in any subject from a UK University, or equivalent academic or professional qualification; all applicants also require a minimum of 3 years' organisational experience and to be holding (or aspiring towards) a management position where they are facing significant change; in exceptional cases, an applicant may be considered for admission without the specific academic qualifications if they have a substantial record of achievement and are able to demonstrate that they can benefit from and contribute to the programme. Support references are needed.
Stage 1: Contemporary issues in the environment; financial analysis and management; management for business excellence; managing customer value; managing human performance; developing professional practice. Stage 2: Corporate and business strategy in an international context; strategy implementation; organisational renewal and change; developing professional practice; elective(s). Stage 3: Dissertation or consultancy project.
Assessment is through a combination of individual assignments, group presentations and examinations, plus a business consultancy project or a dissertation of 15,000 words.
