Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Logistics and supply chain management is much more than simply moving items from A to B. During this course, you'll explore global supply chain strategy and learn how to effectively source products from other countries. We'll also teach you how to navigate government policies that affect transport and profitability throughout the world. You'll explore a range of vital areas including strategic sourcing, contract and stakeholder management, and risk management. At the same time, we'll help you understand enterprise resource planning systems like SAP, and their vital role in the age of e-commerce. You'll also master logistics management and manufacturing operations while learning how to reduce CO2 emissions in supply chains over land, sea and air. **Learn from the experts** By examining key organisations in the industry, you'll get to look at the inner workings of supply chain management in global organisations. Later, you'll put your freshly acquired skills and knowledge into practice on a dissertation project. The course is accredited by both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
