Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, this course will prepare you for a career in the energetic world of public relations. You'll learn how to write successful press releases and gain a thorough understanding of media relations. As well as PR strategy and campaign planning, you'll also spend time looking into digital communications and develop skills in both client and media management. You'll also explore corporate communications, and spend time learning about crisis management and protecting a brands reputation - critical skills for successful public relations. **Real-life experience beyond the classroom** Regular guest lecturers will give you an insight into the current issues facing the industry today. They'll also provide you with valuable networking opportunities to build connections with the region's thriving PR and communications industry. Spend time working with real clients. You'll create effective press packs and put your newly acquired PR skills into practice. MSc: Normally a good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or international equivalent, in any subject. We will consider your application if you have significant, relevant experience or degree equivalent professional qualifications. Applicants whose first language is not English (and whose first degree was not taught in English) are required to produce evidence of English Language. Overseas applicants will require IELTS with an overall score of 7.0 with 6.0 in the three elements of the test, apart from the written element minimum of 6.5 or an equivalent accepted English qualification
