The fields of sport and exercise sciences are becoming increasingly specialised, demanding greater levels of understanding. Alongside this movement is the need to educate postgraduate students to be critical thinkers and be ready to adapt their skills to new areas of health, exercise intervention and sports education. This programme prepares you for a career within sport and exercise, specialising in sports development. Underpinned by research and practitioner expertise, an interdisciplinary perspective is encouraged. Opportunities for interaction are across a range of specialisms. Entry requirements

MA: A minimum 2:2 UK undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) typically in a related area or in an area of study accompanied by professional or personal experience. Applicants with relevant extensive professional experience in this field will be considered for Accredited Prior Learning (APL) and Accredited Prior Experience (APE) entrance, even if they do not have the required qualifications. IELTS score required for international students 6.5 with no element below 5
