Our MSc Project Management (Mechanical Engineering) is your opportunity to get on board. It's a chance to develop new engineering and technical skills along with management of projects capabilities to succeed in this new world. It's one of our new project management courses - bringing vital management skills together with specialist expertise in engineering. You'll start off by studying the fundamentals of project management. You'll then look at the key principles and techniques associated with the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects. You'll then specialise in mechanical engineering, exploring the systems, materials and manufacturing techniques of the Industry 4.0 era. Our teaching staff are professionals from a range of backgrounds, from engineering and environmental industries, to railways and digital forensics. With their support, you'll become a rounded professional, ready to apply for project management roles in organisations globally.

Entry requirements

MSc: You will have at least a 2:2 UK undergraduate honours degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computing or equivalent. Applicants with relevant and extensive professional experience in the relevant fields will be considered. English: IELTS 6.5 with reading 6.5 and writing 6.5, no-subset below 6.0 is required. This applies to all non-English speaking nationals.
