Autism Spectrum Conditions

This course aims to develop the knowledge, understanding and professional competence of staff working with individuals with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and there is the opportunity to claim credit for prior learning. You will increase your knowledge of theoretical perspectives on the nature, causation, and impact of ASC. Over the course of your study you will develop, plan and evaluate individual courses to enhance learning opportunities and learn how to work more effectively with colleagues, other professionals and parents. As you progress, you will become more aware of your own professional practice and will develop the ability to critically examine and reflect on the benefits of different approaches to working with individuals with ASC.
