Professional Practice Development

The programme has been developed and designed to develop practice and professional experience, develop professional skills and inform practice in current roles.

Entry requirements

Admission is limited to professional practitioners in health, social care and education. Applicants must either have a UK Honours degree (or international equivalent) in a Health and Social Care discipline or have gained substantial professional or clinical experience. A professional qualification with two years experience and active case load is essential.

Assessment methods

Practice Development is offered as a modular programme requiring minimal release from full-time employment. Phase 2 of the course consists of a practice-focused project or research dissertation (for the research route only).
