Applicants will have an undergraduate physiotherapy Honours degree or graduate diploma in physiotherapy, with evidence of approved and relevant post-qualification education.
Modules include: Research methods; data handling; management of musculoskeletal chronic pain; orthopaedic medicine approach to the management of musculoskeletal conditions; the health professional as an educator; advanced musculoskeletal practice; evidence-based approach to neurological rehabilitation; clinical exercise physiology; cardio-respiratory physiology; evidence-based practice; independent study; rehabilitation of older people; management of acute and critically ill patients; management of paediatric impairment and foundation for effective; management within an organisation.
A mix of essays, literature reviews, oral presentations, case studies, practical skills, examinations and dissertation.
