Fashion Innovation

The course has been developed to embrace creativity and innovative practices within the fashion industry. The development of new and traditional technologies have combined to see a radical shift in thinking about the process of developing fashion and textile solutions globally. From 3D printed couture and the selling of 'code' as designs to be individually printed through to food products, such as ECO Milk Fibre and recycled coffee beans turned into wearable commodities, the range of activities is innumerable. By collaborating in a holistic manner, you will learn through a series of industry-located briefs during three consecutive 60 credit units. It is expected that cross discipline teaching groups will enable you to widen your experience further, to question existing practices and to give you a fuller understanding of how the various strands of the industry work together
