Exercise and Sport (Sport Development)
The programme is flexible: study major and minor in subjects to achieve the desired combination. Study pattern: Full-Time: Attendance at the University for 2 days per week from September to Easter plus at least 1 full weekend. From Easter until completion attendance will be dependent on the research project being undertaken; Part-Time: University attendance for 1 day per week from September to Easter plus at least 1 full weekend in the 1st year. In the 2nd year, 1 day a week from September to Easter and then Easter to completion of research project as necessary.
A minimum 2.2 Honours degree in a related subject.
Modules include: Qualitative and quantitative research methods; research methods and design; professional skills; social marketing for sport and physical activity; sport and physical activity: measuring impact; sport development: policy and planning; sport: a broader social agenda; international perspectives in sports development; research project.
