Established as a University in 1992, Middlesex is widely regarded as an excellent international provider of higher education, producing highly employable and successful graduates. The roots of Middlesex University can be traced back to the late 1880s, when two educational institutions opened in north London - St Katherine's College and the Hornsey School of Arts and Crafts. Both would become part of Middlesex Polytechnic, which was founded in 1973.
Middlesex offers one of London’s few self-contained campuses, a calm and leafy communal learning environment equipped with the very latest learning and recreational facilities and proud heritage that goes back 130 years. Recently, £200 million has been invested in facilities and infrastructure at the Hendon campus, a short tube journey from central London.
