This course focuses on current business practice covering themes of human enterprise, strategy dynamics, products and processes, finance and economics, customer focus and management perspectives. The course is designed for practising managers who want to gain a generalist perspective on management. Each of these themes is taught through 4 five-week units providing students with an intense, extensive coverage of management. You will take part in an international field trip (costs are included in the fees) where previous undergraduates have visited Cape Town, Milan, Paris, Barcelona and Hong Kong. As this MBA is project based, you will complete a project, rather than a dissertation, which will focus around a business plan or market proposal/new product and can be conducted via a real company. This project work will enhance your entrepreneurial skills or ability to act as a consultant to your own, or another organisation.
