Marketing Management

Students on this course study the theory and practice of effective strategic marketing management. The course focuses on experiential learning where practical application of theory allows students to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary marketing issues by developing skills in strategic analysis, problem-solving and decision making.�

Entry requirements

Candidates should possess a 2nd Class Honours degree or above or an overseas equivalent qualification. Applicants without formal qualifications with a minimum of 3 years managerial experience in sales or marketing are welcomed. Candidates should have competence in English language and grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all 4 components) or TOEFL internet based 87 (with at least 21 in listening and writing, 22 in speaking and 23 in reading).

Course modules

Modules include: Brand management; entrepreneurship and selling to small businesses; sports marketing; arts marketing; social marketing; marketing research processes; retail marketing; creative communication strategies.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on coursework, examinations and case studies.
