Sports Performance Analysis

Students on this course learn to design sport specific performance materials and gain practical skills for communicating with athletes and coaches. As part of the course students have the opportunity to take part in work placements with London based sporting organisations.

Entry requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in a sport or exercise related field (2.1 or above). Applications from students with science, maths and I.T. degrees are welcomed. Alternatively students who have completed the International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport (ISPAS) accreditation and have extensive experience will be welcomed. Applicants should have competence in English language and grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all 4 components) or TOEFL internet based 87 (with at least 21 in listening and writing, 22 in speaking and 23 in reading).

Course modules

Compulsory: Biometric modelling and performance profiling; performance analysis; work placement Optional: Dissertation; research methods; work based learning; work based research methods.
