Promoting Mental Health in Adolescents and Young People
This course is for students with experience of working with adolescents and young people who wish to develop their existing skills or individuals new to this area of work who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in child and adolescent mental health work in a number of settings (i.e. health, local authority, educational settings and or within the voluntary and independent sector). Students on this course focus on the exploration, examination and evaluation of the contemporary health and social policy initiatives which support mental health work.
Applicants require experience of working with adolescents and young people.
3,000-word critical review of practice, and a 3,000-word case study and analysis.
