The course gives secondary school drama teachers an opportunity to gain an MA in their chosen subject, so that they can improve their practice and have a direct impact on raising standards in their school. As a result, all the hallmarks of Trestle's work - physicality, storytelling and devising - are now at the heart of the drama and theatre studies curriculum.

Entry requirements

The MA is only available to candidates who are UK qualified teachers with QTS. It is a requirement that you are employed in a secondary school teaching drama or a related subject area.

Course modules

Modules include: Developing professional practice: Visual and physical story-telling; action enquiry: Educational drama; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment meothds may include assignments, portfolios of evidence and action research projects.
