International Economics and Finance

This programme provides a postgraduate conversion course in finance. The course is for graduates from non-finance related subjects. A distinctive feature of the course is the international perspective on the role of finance and monetary policy. Students learn to understand and analyse: international finance markets; the international trading system; the role played by key supranational institutions like the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Trade Organisation (WTO).

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, with some transcript evidence of mathematical education. Applicants with a minimum of grade C at maths A-Level will be considered on an individual basis. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
