The programme allows students to critically analyse the role of finance within international financial systems. In particular to analyse the management of asset-specific, company and country risk. Students develop their understanding of the key principles and theories of finance, they also develop IT and research skills for the sector. This course is responsive to trends and issues in global financial markets and services. It features compulsory modules in financial theory and corporate policy. It also includes optional specialist banking modules.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or an international equivalent, preferably with transcript evidence of at least 2 mathematical modules. Applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and/or professional will be considered on an individual basis. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
