This course is designed for graduates with an accounting, economics or finance background who wish to develop their understanding of financial issues with an emphasis on modelling, forecasting and derivatives. This course aims to provide participants an opportunity to critically analyse international financial markets, noticeably the management of individual, company and country risk within this context. Attention is also placed on developing a contemporary empirical understanding of the behaviour of international financial markets.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or an international equivalent, preferably with transcript evidence of at least two mathematical modules; applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and/or professional will be considered on an individual basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
