This programme is oriented to professionals who want to take general responsibility for whole e-business initiatives in any function of the firm, from internet operations to internal systems, and from technology start-ups to multinational corporations, including the work at product and service provider level. Students learn: the business value of contemporary information and communication technologies; how to foster innovations in firms; business planning and new ventures; the link between strategic objectives and e-business systems; end-to-end business processes such as the ones involving clients and suppliers; the management and development of e-business systems; how organisations affect technologies and how technologies affect organisations.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in any discipline. We will also consider your application if you have narrowly lower or non-standard qualifications and a 1st degree related to business, eg: management; international business; marketing; operations; entrepreneurship. If you have relevant work experience in a business or technological role you are also encouraged to apply. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Technology foresight; innovation management; internet entrepreneurship; e-business and strategy alignment; projects; business processes redesign; systems integration; and organisational change.
