Media and Journalism
This course is designed for students who want to build on skills gained at undergraduate level and journalists who want to engage in academic study. The MA explores the theory and practices of journalism and the social, cultural, economic and political contexts in which the media works.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent; applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and relevant professional experience in the media, broadcast or print journalism will be considered; applicants whose 1st language is not English should have a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-section) or equivalent.
