Educational Research and Innovation
The course will provide effective postgraduate professional development for teachers / lecturers and school leaders in the field of innovation in curriculum and pedagogy through practitioner enquiry. Students will need a professional context in which they can develop relevant understanding and skills and to undertake their practice-based assignments.
A 1st degree and relevant professional experience in an educational context; the University does not need students' employers� permission for entry to the programme, although they would be expected to discuss the focus of their assignments (where necessary) with appropriate colleagues / line managers; Applicants will need to have current access to educational workplaces (e.g through employment or educational consultancy), in order to develop opportunities for innovation.
