Supervision is available in the following subject areas: classical, medieval and early modern medicine; death and burial; gender, women�s history and the history of sexuality; historical demography; history of ideas; history of psychiatry; early medieval Britain and Europe; national identity, inter-ethnic relations and border issues; politics, international relations and the impact of war; urban history and urban culture.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in an appropriate discipline; PhD applicants should have a related Master�s degree, or international equivalent; Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing) or equivalent.
