History of Medicine

The programme spans classical antiquity to the 21st century, covering classical antiquity, medieval, early modern and modern periods. This interdisciplinary and comprehensive course is open to students from the humanities and social sciences and also to candidates with a health care or medical sciences background.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent. Applicants are also considered on an individual basis with lower or non-standard qualifications. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing) or equivalent.
