This course enables graduates to acquire high-quality translating skills so they may enter the translating profession, especially in marketable fields such as technology, commerce, international relations and journalism. This MA consists of 2 stages of study over 24 months, and uses English and Chinese as working languages.
A 2.1 Honours degree or a degree with a minimum average of 80 per cent (or GPA 3.0) on your transcript; applicants must also have expert 2nd language knowledge; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.5 with a minimum of 7.0 in all sub-sections, which must be no more than 2 years old on starting the programme; no equivalent English language qualifications can be considered on this programme.
