Supervision is normally available in the following areas: motor systems development, plasticity, function; visual system development, plasticity and repair; neural computation and network systems; auditory neuroscience; pain; psychobiology; neurotoxicology; forensic psychiatry and clinical psychology; systems and computational neuroscience; behaviour and evolution; visual perception and human cognition.
A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a science or medicine related subject; plus further research experience and/or a further qualification such as an MRes; MD: a MBBS, or an equivalent medical degree; Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
