Neuromuscular Diseases

This is a research-based course with a taught component that is equivalent to an MSc. It provides a springboard into a career that involves a working knowledge of scientific research. The taught component of the course includes subject-specific content in the area of neuromuscular diseases. The research project comprises the major element of the course. This project will involve 24 weeks of research in an area of neuromuscular diseases under the supervision of an expert academic researcher in the field.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a science discipline, or an MBBS degree with high grades. Practical laboratory work experience is desirable, although not essential. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
