Clinical Implant Dentistry

The course is intended for dental practitioners with little or no implant dentistry experience. It aims to develop knowledge and skills to plan, treat and maintain implant cases. We will provide patients for you to treat. The course satisfies the requirements of the UK Training Standards in Implant Dentistry. We offer places for eight participants. You must have full registration with the General Dental Council (UK) and have successfully completed two years of Dental Foundation Training or equivalent postgraduate training. Final certification requires satisfactory completion of continuous assessment.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have a primary dental qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (UK). You must have completed this at least 1 year before starting the course. You must be fully registered with the General Dental Council (UK) by the time the course starts. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 7.0 (with a minimum of 6.5 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
