Clinical Implant Dentistry

Our course will suit practitioners with little or no implant dentistry experience. You will develop the skills to plan, treat and maintain implant cases. We provide the patients you treat on the course. The course satisfies the requirements of the Training Standards in Implant Dentistry. This is endorsed by the General Dental Council (UK) at the level of 'straightforward placement of implants'. It also provides good preparation for dentists planning to sit the Diploma in Implant Dentistry. This is a recognised qualification, offered by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have a primary dental qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (UK). They must have completed this at least 2 years before starting the course. Applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council (UK) by the time the course starts. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an overall IELTS score of 7.0 (with at least 7.0 in all sub-skills) or equivalent.
