This course provides students with specialist knowledge to meet the needs of the construction, environmental and extractive industries. Students will learn the principles of geotechnical engineering and their application in a range of contexts.
A 2.2 Honours degree, or an international equivalent, in earth sciences, civil engineering, geological science, geology, geophysics, maths or physics; applicants must have a maths background; applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and/or relevant professional experience are considered on an individual basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English must have IELTS 6.5 (with 6.0 in each sub-section) or equivalent.
