Transport Planning and Engineering
This course is designed for both practising professionals and new graduates. Students develop and apply advanced skills and understanding to the planning, management and operation of transport systems. Along with developing essential skills and understanding of the planning, management and operation of transport systems, this course helps you establish a responsible attitude towards the needs of society, the environment and transport safety considerations. Students can also go on a study tour to Europe to examine the different approaches to transport management in other countries.
A 2.2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any engineering or science subject, geography, town planning or maths. Applicants with a qualification in a different subject to those listed above, a lower or non-standard qualification and those who have significant, relevant industry experience will be considered. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (with minimum of 6.0 in all sub-sections) or equivalent.
