Our computer science conversion course is for those who have little or no experience in computing. You will study the principles and practice of computing. It will include the fundamentals of computing science, database design, network technologies and programming. This course can also be taken as Continuing Professional Development (CPD), for example by ICT teachers who are switching to the new Computer Science curriculum.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree, or equivalent, in any subject; graduates of subjects related to computer science will be considered, but applications will be dealt with on an individual basis because of the potential overlap between the 1st degree and the modules on the programme; applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and/or relevant professional experience are considered on an individual basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
